Dave Demas has 20 years experience in environmental construction projects, including development of work plans, conceptual designs, permitting, closure plans, contract documents, and documentation reports. He is also deeply knowledgeable in heavy metals stabilization, site investigations, remediation design and construction, MGP remediation, contract management, stakeholder and community relations, estimating, and construction site management.
Among his areas of focus: environmental decommission and demolition projects as part of industrial asset management, bankruptcies, and federal site management, such as TERC, RAC, AFCEE, BRAC, Homeland Security, and RCRA.
As a Contracts Manager for HCS, Dave is responsible for managing business risks associated with construction projects. Collaborating with various parties internally and externally, he reviews, negotiates and administers contract proposals and specifications for client contracts and subcontracts. Dave also identifies, evaluates, and advises on potential project problems and risks to minimize project disruptions, cost increases and safety issues.
David earned his Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Indiana University.
